Turns Out YOU Maybe Stressing Out Your Dog

Square, Amanda J's Dog Hanging Out At KZOK

This new study makes me realize I must be a horrible pet owner. I get stressed easily and have a lot of anxiety, I may seem calm and collected on the outside but its all a facade.

Its pretty well known that when a person is stressed out it affects the people around you, but it turns out it also affects the animals around that person. The ones that are paying attention at least. Your cat, fish or parrot probably won't notice, but man's best friend well they may feel the effects of a persons emotional state.

A new out of Sweden found that stressed out dog owners, had stressed out dogs as well. The researchers believe it could be because your dog is very emotionally dependent on you.

Turns out I need to find ways to calm myself down before coming home to my dog, Square. Sidenote: the real reason I wanted to blog about this study.... So I had a reason to share more pictures of Square with you guys :)
