It's not until next weekend, but there's a little record company that's having a 30th birthday party. Most little record companies put out a few of their friends records, maybe get played on a college radio station or two, and then their owners get real jobs. This one was quite different. 30 years ago you pretty much had to be from Los Angeles or New York or London if you wanted anything at all to happen. These guys saw something in the bands playing right here in Seattle, and made the whole ****ing world take notice! So I went to visit the building where the magic happened.
