While in Hawaii over Thanksgiving I visited Kona Brewing. I buy their beer here in Seattle, but that doesn't mean I don't want to visit the place where the magic happens! Plus there are always things at breweries that aren't bottled for stores. Kona has a nice location, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It felt like a nice mix of locals and tourists. Plenty of folks at the bar you saw were regulars. I had a pineapple IPA, a coconut Brown and a Pale. Ok, Matt and I shared! They do pints, and tasters, and all of it was super good. You'll see plenty of their beer in stores, so if you can't make it to Hawaii, have yourself a little taste of paradise by picking some up in bottles. Mahalo!
