I made a trip up to Toronto for a baseball game with my husband Matt and Rick Jones. Did you know there is a hotel inside the stadium? And that hotel has a bar/restaurant overlooking the outfield. Ridiculously cool. The first night we got there we watched the end of the game from the bar, and the following day we went to the game and sat in regular seats. What an amazing ballpark! Of course you have to have a Molson if you're in Canada. But I also wanted to try something with a little oomph. Boneshaker Unfiltered IPA sounded just about right! This is from Amsterdam Brewing Company. Can't say I'd heard of them but that's likely because they're from Ontario and we don't exactly get a ton of Canadian beers down here. Which after having this beer made me sad! It's a hop bomb. Citrus, pine, hoppy and yet all super well balanced. I highly recommend taking a trip up the ballpark, as it's beautiful and Toronto is a fantastic city. If you do, make sure to try this beer!
