I've been going to Urban Family for years now, yet I realized I hadn't been much to their new location in Ballard. Time to change that! They have a big space, indoor and outdoor. The outdoor firepits are particularly nice. But the beer. They always have so many unique styles. Sour, IPA, Barrel Aged...I tried a few and some were so good that I ordered a keg. The good and bad thing about having a kegerator. The Vienna Lager and Cold IPA came home. I'd have brought home the Black IPA and Dunkel if I had a bigger beer fridge. If you find yourself in Ballard be sure to stop in for some amazing beer. Or check the fridge in your local grocery store as they can and bottle as well. Bonus, there are always food trucks around, the Laos food truck was amazing. Cheers!
