New Mötley Crüe Recordings Are 100% Done & A Look At Classic Rock History

Nikki Sixx says new Mötley Crüe songs are 100% done and ready for mix. His comments come right after new guitarist John 5 claimed the new songs are heavier and more aggressive than any previous Mötley Crüe albums.

In the History of Rock in 1965 – The Byrds enter the Billboard chart for the first time with their version of Bob Dylan’s “Mr. Tambourine Man”, which would eventually climb to number 1.

In 1971 – Mountain, The Faces, and Pink Floyd play at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London. Performing in front of a large pond, a number of fish are killed when Floyd set off smoke flares underwater. They were later billed for the dead fish.

And in 1996 – Independent Television in Britain broadcast the earliest known footage of The Beatles, shot in February 1961, three years before the group became world-famous. The film was found in a drawer in a house in Liverpool.
