AXS TV has announced that their special 4th of July weekend programing will include the premiere of concert films and documentaries featuring Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam. Also included throughout the long weekend, concerts from Tom Petty, Soundgarden, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Heart, and more.

And in 1990 – Actor Gary Busey, who played Buddy Holly in “The Buddy Holly Story”, paid $240,000 for one of Holly’s acoustic guitars at an auction at Sotheby’s in New York. The guitar came in a tooled leather case made by Holly himself.
