30th Anniversary of Nevermind Has 70 Unreleased Tracks: Classic Rock Update

Nirvana has new music, kind of… The ‘Nevermind’ 30th-Anniversary Edition will include 70 previously unreleased audio and video tracks. Beginning November 12, 2021, Geffen/UMe commemorates the 30th anniversary of “Nevermind” with several multi-format reissues.

A total of 94 audio and video tracks — 70 previously unreleased — will be made available across configurations ranging from super deluxe editions to standard digital/CD and single disc vinyl with bonus 7-inch.

All four newly remastered live shows are included in the “Nevermind” super deluxe editions, which will be available in both vinyl and CD+Blu-ray.

Elton John really does have new music. He’s released another single from his upcoming album The Lockdown Sessions. The song is called "After All," and it’s a collaboration with singer-songwriter Charlie Puth. The Lockdown Sessions, which will be released on October 22nd, includes collaborations with other younger artists, like Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Brandi Carlile and Lil Nas X. Veterans Eddie Vedder, Stevie Nicks and Stevie Wonder also make appearances.

In the History of Rock in 1905 – The first regular column devoted to music appeared in Billboard magazine.

In 1957 – Buddy Holly And The Crickets scored their only US number one hit with their first Billboard chart maker, "That'll Be the Day". Holly would later reach the Top Ten with "Peggy Sue" and "Oh, Boy!" and crack the Top 20 with "Maybe Baby" and "It Doesn't Matter Anymore".

And in 1974 – Elvis Presley goes on a $100,000 shopping spree in Memphis and buys six Lincoln Continentals and five Cadillacs and distributes them among his friends.
