Green Day IS BACK!
"Corvette Summer" is the new single and video off "Saviors", which came out earlier this year!
The song and the video are inspired by the 70's cult classic film that starred Mark Hamill (yes, that's Luke Skywalker), in his first film after Star Wars. In paying homage the band got Mark to star in the video,
"got Mark Hamill in our remake alongside us, Hannibal Buress, and some others. We blew the entire budget on them so we had to get creative with cardboard boxes, some duct tape and matchbox cars we found in Tre’s basement." the band said.
