Legendary AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson’s long-delayed autobiography, ‘The Lives Of Brian’, will finally arrive on October 25th — a year later than originally planned.
In the History of Rock in 1968 – Eric Clapton records the guitar solo for the Beatles’ “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”, becoming the first non-Beatle to appear on one of their recordings. George Harrison said that Clapton’s presence had made them all try a bit harder and they were all on their best behavior.
In 1988 – Elton John held a high-class garage sail at Sotheby’s in London. 2,000 items of Elton John’s personal memorabilia, glasses, hats, costumes and more were sold at auction.
And in 2006 – Victor Willis, the policeman in The Village People, was given three years probation for drugs offences. Willis co-wrote some of the group’s biggest hits - including ‘YMCA’ and ‘In The Navy.’
