The brush fires in Australia have been devastating this past year, killing way too many animals. Hope has showed its face in the smallest form, however. Scientists have discovered that the pigmy possum species (who's status has been unknown since the fires) is still alive and well when they found one of the little guys on Kangaroo Island!
