A new brewery opened recently in Magnolia called Dirty Couch Brewing. They specialize in sour beer, and aged beers. While that isn't my passion, I needed to check it out. Plus they do offer a few beers in other styles. Dirty Couch has a similar layout to many other breweries, modern, utilitarian, and sparse. I was surprised there was no couch. Nary a one. But there was a surprising amount of beer on the menu. Matt ordered the Founder and Argumentist Blueberry barrel aged. I had an IPA (shocking), Chastity a Pale Ale and Mark a Double Hazy IPA. My IPA was so cloudy it looked like you could cut it with a knife. But it was dang good. In fact, not a disappointed beer drinker in the house! Matt loved his beer so much he bought a few bottles to go. I'm looking forward to a return visit when the weather warms up, because they do have a nice outdoor area. There were plenty of bicyclists and dog owners, and despite no couches this is a comfy spot with funky beer.
