A trip to my local pub for beers this week. Mulleady's Pub in Interbay. My husband Matt and our friend Leon were along for the ride. Cold weather is here, and that means some nice dark beers. Dark beers don't necessarily translate to big beers. So many people grew up thinking Guinness was heavy and full of booze. Not the case. And it's not the case for Reuben's Brews Robust Porter. The Reuben's is 5.9% ABV. A Guinness 4.2%. There is something about a cloudy cold day, where these beer styles really hit the spot. And the nice thing about these, is you can have more than one. Mulleady's has a solid selection of local beers, and rotating taps as well. I see plenty of fresh hop offerings...I might be back for another visit this weekend. Cheers.
