The Godfather of Grunge "Neil Young" is recording a new album with Crazy Horse to follow up 2012's Psychedelic Pill. Responding to a fan's question on his website, Young revealed, "Crazy Horse is about to enter the studio with 11 new ones," adding, the tracks are "going to be recorded starting this week." Rolling Stone notes that there is no timeline for laying down the songs.

Neil Young is hitting the road in the near future so this new album may end up being put on the back burner for now which is fine by us considering Neil Young is headed to town May 20th and 21st at The Paramount Theatre.
