The show's newest member, Amanda gave me with a cool beer this week, Phantom Bride from Belching Beaver. This is a collaboration beer, between the brewery and the band Deftones. How cool! Belching Beaver is out of So Cal. I've had their delicious Peanut Butter Milk Stout before. They have been collaborating with the band on several different styles, and each are limited release. The artwork on all the cans is SO amazing. This is a classic West Coast IPA. Pine, citrus, bitter hops and a tinge of malt. It's straight up, not hazy. And it's very delicious. I found it full bodied, not thin at all. Great aroma and taste. I'm a fan of well carbonated beers, and this hits that mark too. You can find several Belching Beaver brews here in WA.
