Tom Petty's Former Home Back On The Market

A California home that once belonged to Tom Petty is up for sale - if you've got an extra $5 million lying around. The three-story Encino mansion was built in 1989 after Petty's old house burned down in 1987, a fire that reportedly inspired the song "I Won't Back Down".

The 11,400-square-foot house includes a pool with a waterfall, a spa, outdoor kitchen, gym, and pool house with full living quarters.  It also features a lovely view of the canyon.

This isn't the first of Tom Petty's homes to go up for sale around $5 Mil. According to Town and Country his home near Lake Sherwood, California went up for sale in November 2017 for around $5.895 Million. TMZ reported a few months later in January of 2018 the home was still for sale for around $5.5 Million.
