Last week the story broke that actor Mark Wahlberg was paid $1.5 million to reshoot his scenes in the Ridley Scott film "All the money in the world", and that his female co-star Michelle Williams made only $1,000, and that director Ridley Scott told all other actors on the project that there was no additional money for reshoots.
This created a public relations nightmare for Wahlberg, and we offered the advice that the only way for the leading man to save face would be to donate the $1.5 million he made to the "Times Up" movement against sexual harassment championed from the stage at this years Golden Globe Awards.
Well it seems that "Marky Mark" took our advice, and then some! It was announced today that Wahlberg would donate his $1.5 million, (In the name of his co-star Michelle Williams) and that his agency would donate an additional $500,000 to the #Times Up movement.
You're welcome Mark. Please feel free to reach out if there's anything else we can help you with.
