Fresh Hop season is here, and if you're a beer lover, this is a magical time. SO many breweries are offering up limited edition beers, and many are also doing collaborations. These are beers that don't last, so seek them out while you can! This week I had a collab from Russian River Brewing out of NoCal, and Bale Breaker. Bale Breaker are originally out of Yakima, and they grow all the hops. Like, a lot of hops. So they have an inside source for their beer! Russian River are legendary brewers, famous for their Pliny The Elder, and Pliny the Younger. What could possibly go wrong with this collab? Absolutely nothing. What an amazing brew. I had it in the Ballard tap room, and brought some home. What also came home, an outstanding Black IPA Fresh Hop. It's hard enough to find Black IPA, but a fresh hop? Oh my goodness. I'm hoping it's there when I return this weekend because it was swoon worthy. Don't miss out on these beers, and all the delightful fresh hop brews that are out there right now! Cheers
