For this week's blog I tried a beer from Bombastic Brewing out of Idaho. I'd never seen this beer before, but the can design was interesting, and I'm always into checking out new beers. Not sure why the platypus but the label sure is cute. They brew out of Hayden Idaho. I've loved visiting Boise, but this is a new town for me. Checking out their website I see Bombastic has an impressive array of beer styles, but the one I found was a Pale Ale. It's made with Citra hops, which is always one I love. It's crisp, and tasty. And just 5%. Their Mexican Stout is award winning, so I'll have to keep an eye out for that one. I'm always up for trying new breweries, hopefully you will do the same!
