Lunch at Hilltop Ale House in Queen Anne had me ordering a scrumptious beer to go with a scrumptious sandwich. They had a German that I very very rarely see anywhere in the states. Weinstephaner Krystall Weissbier. They are the world's oldest brewery, so they know what they're doing. They make delicious German wheat beer. You can find their hefeweiss beer at some stores, but the Krystall weiss is more rare stateside. It's got the signature clove, spice and hints of banana. It's such a treat. It's full of flavor but is also the perfect compliment to food. This beer is a classic, as is Hilltop. Great food, friendly service, and a great taplist. Cheers! Or should I say prost!
