Had a lunchtime treat...delicious seafood from Local Tide, AND delicious beer from Aslan Brewing. These two spots are connected in Fremont. If Local Tide is full, or you just feel like eating in the brewery, there is a window that connects the two and brings you food. Best of both worlds. It was a group of four of us, and we chose the brewery. Each of us ordered something different. Alsan has a nice variety of ever changing beers. I went for the Dunkle. It's rich, easy drinking, and holds up well to lunch. Local Tide had an oyster po'boy on the menu this week. Hard to beat that and an Aslan Dunkle. Or IPA. Or Lager. Ha, it's all good stuff.
