According to Slash, Gun N’ Roses have a couple of epic songs they are ready to release. Their most recent release was a four-song EP, “Hard Skool”, which came out in February, but Slash says a whole new record could be coming soon.

In 1973 – The Rolling Stones went to number 1 on the singles chart with ‘Angie’, it was the group’s 7th US chart topper.
And in 2001 – An all-star lineup including The Who, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, and Elton John appeared at The Concert For New York City at Madison Square Garden. It was a five-hour show benefitting the victims of the 9/11 attack.
