Wolfgang Van Halen Starts Recording Second Mammoth WVH Album & Rock History

Wolfgang Van Halen has started recording his second Mammoth WVH album. The effort is a follow-up to his release last summer, five years after he began piecing together ideas for his solo career.

In the History of Rock in 1966 – Having moved to London, Jimi Hendrix played with Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding for the first time – and The Jimi Hendrix Experience were formed.

In 1989 – Motley Crue played a warm-up show for their forthcoming Dr. Feelgood tour at the Whisky a Go Go, under their pseudonym The Foreskins. The show was also used for the filming of their next video, ‘Kickstart My Heart’.

And in 1991 – Guns N’ Roses started a two-week run at number 1 on the US album chart with ‘Use Your Illusion II’.
