Lindsey Buckingham Headed On Tour To Support Latest Solo Album & History

Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist, Lindsey Buckingham, released his first solo album in over a decade last year and now he’s hitting the road. Stops in Europe and the U.K., and another U.S. trek this fall.

In the History of Rock in 1964 – Liberty Records reports that the album "The Chipmunks Sing The Beatles" is selling 25,000 copies a day.

In 1970 – Creedence Clearwater Revival started a nine-week run at number 1 on the US album chart with their fifth studio album Cosmo’s Factory. The name of the album came from the warehouse in Berkeley where the band rehearsed. John Fogerty was so insistent on practicing every day that they started referring to the place as “the factory”.

And in 2007 – Queen’s guitarist Brian May was awarded a doctorate in Astronomy, 36 years after starting his thesis. May, who abandoned his studies to pursue a career in music said, “now you can call me Dr. May!”
