Creedence Clearwater Revival Will Release Live Album And Film & History

Creedence Clearwater Revival live album and film are set for release on September 16th. They perform favorites like “Fortunate Son,” “Proud Mary” and “Bad Moon Rising”. It’s the only concert footage of the band’s original lineup to be released in its entirety.

In the History of Rock in 1987 – Def Leppard released their fourth studio album Hysteria which became their best-selling album, selling over 20 million copies worldwide. The title of the album was thought up by drummer Rick Allen in reference to the media commotion after his car accident.

In 1991 – Metallica held a playback party to launch their self-titled album at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic from Nirvana both attended.

And in 2002 – After an absence of 37 years, Bob Dylan returned to the Newport Folk Festival where he performed a 2 hour show of 19 songs, wearing a false beard and a wig.
