A new documentary about the late legendary Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Randy Rhoads will premiere on May 6th. Rhoads was a key figure in the revival of Ozzy’s solo career.
In the History of Rock in 1971 – Halfway through a Grateful Dead set at the Fillmore East in New York City. Jerry Garcia welcomed “another famous California group” to the stage. The Beach Boys joined them and they finished their set and several covers together.
In 1981 – Ringo Starr married former Bond girl Barbara Bach. George Harrison and Paul McCartney were in attendance. The former Beatles talked as if they'd never been apart.
And in 2003 – On the closing night of Coachella, Iggy Pop performed with The Stooges for the first time in 29 years.
