Okay, we finally got to see what Dave Grohl is not good at. He appeared on the The Late Late Show with James Corden to plug today’s release of “Studio 666.” And was invited to play a game called “James That Tune”, where James Corden plays the keyboard to some classic tunes... the catch is that James doesn’t know how to play a keyboard. Grohl missed almost everyone, despite the fact that they were all Foo Fighters songs.
In the History of Rock in 1972 – Led Zeppelin played their first ever gig in New Zealand. It was the largest crowd ever to attend a concert on the island and was reportedly heard over five miles from the Stadium.
In 1984 – Van Halen started a five-week run at number one, with “Jump”, after David Lee Roth added lyrics to music that Eddie Van Halen had written two years before.
And in 1987 – A London newspaper The Sun begins printing a series of articles that called out Elton John’s personal life. After lawyers got involved, they’d end up paying $2 million and issuing a printed apology which consisted of simply “Sorry, Elton.”
