Bono Isn't One Of U2s Biggest Fans, Mick Fleetwood New TV Show

U2’s Bono is making controversial comments in a new interview. The singer says that he was embarrassed by his work on the band’s first album, and only recently learned how to sing. He also said he doesn’t really like the bands name either.

Mick Fleetwood signs on as Executive Producer for a new Fox TV music drama, the show will be called 13 Songs.

In the History of Rock in 1980 – Pink Floyd’s The Wall started a 15-week run at number 1 on the U.S. album chart. The group’s third U.S. number 1, it went on to sell over 23 million copies in the U.S. alone. The Wall is still the third largest grossing album in the U.S., behind Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Eagles’ ‘Greatest Hits’.

In 1994 – Paul McCartney inducts John Lennon into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, saying “The thing you must remember is, that I'm the number one John Lennon fan. I love him to this day and I always did love him.”

And in 2011 – Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler made his debut appearance as a judge on American Idol, during the premiere of the show’s tenth season, replacing Simon Cowell.
