Got a couple of crowlers from Savage Brewing Co. Not familiar with them? I wasn't either. They've been in Kirkland since 2020. I have been exploring WA quite a bit the past few years, with travel being focused on local spots. I'm always excited to find and try new breweries. I got the El Jefe, a hefeweizen and Hop Juice, an IPA. Two very different styles, and two really good beers. The nice thing about a crowler, is you can have two beers, or share with someone. And they're super fresh. Both of these beers are moderate in the ABV department, which is nice. A lot of beers this time of year are huge, and it's nice to find some under 6%. The Hop Juice is a hoppy flavor bomb. Juicy and tropical. The hef has spice and banana and everything nice. Both styles were super. I'll be checking out more of their beers, and we should all continue to support local!
