Superbowl weekend in Las Vegas sounds pretty cool, how about adding a Black Crowes concert. Led by the reunited pair of brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, the band will perform at the House Of Blues on February 11th and 12th.
In the History of Rock in 1966 – The Beatles recorded Christmas and New Year’s greetings for pirate radio stations Radio Caroline and Radio London. Both stations were broadcasting from ships anchored off the British coastline.
In 1969 – Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” enters the Billboard Pop chart. It went on to reach #4 and was the first of six Top 40 singles for the group.
And in 1993 – The Eagles tape a video for Country star Travis Tritt’s version of “Take It Easy”. The get-together will eventually lead to the band’s reunion.
