Sarah's Beer of the Week 12.02.2021

Matt and I spent Thanksgiving week in Munich. It's a beautiful city, known for its history, architecture and Christmas markets. Oh, and their beer. Germany takes beer quite seriously. In the year 1516 they introduced the German Purity Law. That meant nothing weird went into beer like beard hair or cat nip. They still brew the classic way, and there are so many old, OLD breweries. We even found a new brewery, joining the ones that are literally hundreds of years old. We wanted to visit a lot of beer halls, restaurants and breweries. Mission accomplished. And, of course, no trip to Munich is complete without a stop in HofBrauHaus. I gotta say, as much as I love hops, nothing beats a true German Weiss beer. We had such a great time, the people are so friendly. The food is great. And the beer is WONDERFUL!
