May 18th is the expected release date for Steve Miller Band's 50th Anniversary Box Set rumor has it Steve Miller is still working on the finishing touches. In a recent interview with PollStar Steve Miller spoke at length about his up coming box set and announced that he is working on an autobiography.
In the interview when Steve Miller when he was asked about the upcoming box set he stated "I’m at that point in my life where I’m looking at the whole thing, including 4,000 pictures and 10 hours of music and 20 hours of video and trying to put it all together."

Steve Miller has been very busy this year, not only is he working on that box set, and writing a book but he is also on tour with Peter Framption and will be stopping at Chateau Ste Michelle Winery in Woodinville for two sold out shows Aug 25th and 26th!
