Watch As Skydiver Is Left Hanging After Shocking Stadium Crash

A skydiving stunt ahead of a Virginia Tech spring football game took a dangerous turn when one of the parachuters crashed into the stadium’s scoreboard at Lane Stadium instead of landing on the field.

The skydiver became entangled and was left hanging above the field for roughly 15–20 minutes, dropping an American flag and part of the parachute into the stands as fans watched the situation unfold.

Emergency crews responded and used equipment to safely bring the skydiver down, and officials later confirmed the individual was rescued without injury and in stable condition.

The incident caused a delay of more than an hour before the game could begin, with the school thanking first responders for their quick and coordinated efforts.
