Dodgers prospect Zach Ehrhard pulled off a rare and exciting play by hitting an inside-the-park grand slam for the Oklahoma City Comets, the Dodgers’ Triple-A affiliate. The ball ricocheted off the outfield wall and rolled deep into the field, allowing Ehrhard to sprint around the bases and score while the defense scrambled to recover it.
The play was historically significant, marking the first inside-the-park grand slam in the team’s current affiliation era and also the first of its kind at that ballpark. It helped power the Comets to a 9–6 win, making it one of the most memorable highlights of the young Minor League season.
