Every year I buy the smoked porter from Alaskan Brewing Company. It comes out each winter and I LOVE it! It's smoky, roasty malty goodness. This year they're putting it in 12 ounce bottles instead of a bomber. I bought several since it's limited release. Alaskan has this to say about it " Known as “rauchbier” in Germany, smoke-flavored beers were virtually unknown in the U.S. until Alaskan Smoked Porter was developed in 1988."
