I love German beer, and this week I headed to a bar specializing in them. Die Beirstube is in Roosevelt, and features a wide array of beers from Germany, and German food. I was pleasantly surprised to see some I'd never heard of! I had the Weltenburger Weiss Hell, Matt opted for Weihenstephaner Korbinian. The Weiss Hell has the traditional components of a German beer, notes of banana, yeasty, yet crisp and refreshing. The Korbinian was a flavor bomb. It clocks in at 7.4%. Both were super tasty. Of course we had to try some German food. Spaetzle, sausage and a beet salad. All super good. I'll be back for sure. Prost!
