Ilk Beer out of Olympia for this week's blog. A Black IPA. I've only tried their Fresh Hop. Black IPA is an underrated beer style. Do people get scared of that dark of a beer because they think it's too heavy? Or too malty? Done right, it's neither. Ilk Beer is brewing Hazy, Pilsner, Pale and more. I don't make it down to Olympia much, but next time I'm there I'll stop in to sample them all! Cheers
