An Oktoberfest beer from Silver City Brewery this week. Found this at Teku Tavern, a great spot for all things beer. On tap or to take home. I've had a lot of styles from Silver City, but this was my first time having their Oktoberfest. One of my favorite things about this time of the year is the special beers that get released for Oktoberfest! I like to get some of the traditional ones from Germany, but of course want to try all the local ones as well. This one from Silver City is fantastic. It's got that amazing aroma, that spiciness, all the notes that just scream Fall. I admit it was 70 degrees when I drank this, but there isn't a person in the PNW that will say no to that in October.
