Ending the summer drinking a few out of the ordinary brews. Alesong Brewing Stone Fruit Sonata is a sour, made with, you guessed it STONE FRUIT. Nectarines in this one, which I love. Lots of fruit, but also earthy and not sweet. Sours can pucker your face, they can be complex, they have so much going on. Thankfully the folks at Alesong Brewing and Blending out of Oregon are pros. They specialize in these fun and intricate beers. This was a perfect way to wind down the summer. Although, I'm not ready to say goodbye. Maybe we'll get lucky PNW and it will last into October!
