My quest to visit all the MLB ballparks took me to Florida! We had some great beer, including a visit to a brewery right by the Tampa Bay Rays ballpark. Tropicana Field. We stopped in to Green Bench Brewing Company. They are indoor and outdoor, and both were super cool. They even have a giant outdoor tv for watching the game. But we were just there for a pre-funk. I had the Sunshine City IPA, Matt went for the Postcard Pilsner. St. Petersburg is known as the Sunshine City...in the Sunshine State. They even set a record for the most consecutive days of sunshine. At least, according to our Uber driver, who LOVES the city! The beer was fantastic, and everyone was so nice. It felt like the happiness level was very high...that could have something to do with the fantastic beer and copious amounts of sunshine. If you find yourself someplace service Green Bench Brewing Company beer be sure to try it. VERY good stuff!!
