There was a cute coffee shop in Queen Anne that sadly went out of business a few months ago. When speculating about what business would go in, Matt and I laughed and said a brewery would be SO great. But that will never happen. Welp, boy was I wrong. Happily so!! Good Society Brewing in West Seattle just opened up shop!! It's on McGraw across from Ken's Market. I don't know much about them, but their website says:
We are a small, local West Seattle brewery and public house with an additional taproom on Upper Queen Anne. We believe that together is better and we look to inspire human connection through our love of craft beer. Ehat does all that mean? It means that besides brewing beer we love to serve we also love to serve to our community. With every pint sold, we will donate a portion to a local cause.
That sounds pretty cool to me. And the beer is REALLY good. I had a pint of their CDA (one of my favs) and a few samplers. The space isn't huge, but they have tv's and board games...and beautiful looking pretzels! If you find yourself in QA be sure to stop in and support this local brewery!
