Finally I made it over to Bizarre Brewing. They're in Magnolia, in the space formerly occupied by Urban Family. They've been around for less than a year, but the brewers have been part of the Seattle beer scene for years. We're talking Fremont Brewing, Holy Mountain and Cloudburst. Their goal was to brew flavorful beers with a lower ABV. Beers you can enjoy more than one of, and hang out with friends without getting off your face crunk. It's nice to see after struggling to find pales and IPAs under 7% these days. The Modern Pale is 5.8%. The Oat Pale is 5.1%, and Pilsners around 5. They have more styles than I was expecting...and I got to try a nice variety of beers. The space is great, dog and kid friendly. And there are rotating food trucks. Give 'em a shot, the beer won't disappoint!
