On my weekend trip to Portland I stopped in a place called Bistro 23 for dinner. They have a nice simple menu with fresh ingredients and tasty food. And a small but cool tap list. It's hard for me to resist a PNW IPA. Baerlic Brewing Co is making one of the best. It has one of those floral aromas that make you want to smell it as much as drink it. Amazing hop flavor. Not too bitter. Just absolutely delicious. I know they're brewing Hazy's too, but this one is just perfect for me. If you're wondering what or who Baerlic is...I had to look it up. Barley in Old English! Cheers.
