Whenever I travel I like to drink something local. Doesn't matter the style, I just want to try a beer from a local brewer. This past week I went to Santa Barbara for a wedding. I had a beer from Topa Topa Brewing Co. Chief Peak IPA is delightfully tropical. It's very flavorful, hoppy and perfectly carbonated. Loved the taste, and hint of gooseberry. We drank this beer at a spot called Longboards Grille, on the historic Stearns Wharf. Watched the boats, dolphins and birds go by while sipping darn tasty beer.
