My friends over at Sip Magazine recommended a beer from a brewery called Sunriver Brewing Company. Not on my radar until now. How is this possible?! Their NW Pale Ale is amazing. Rippin Pale has notes of pine and citrus and tropical fruits. Not a punch in the face like an IPA but nice hop forwardness and ridiculously good aroma. These guys are in Sunriver Oregon, which is quite far from Seattle, so in the meantime I hope to find more of their beer in stores. Fantastic stuff.
