I had such a cool and unique beer this week. Sometimes you struggle to come up with exact words you want to use to describe the way something tastes. This one was no struggle. It tastes like pickle...and beer. Bosque Brewing Company out of New Mexico created this one, that puckers your face, on purpose. The Pickle Down Economics is a Pickle Gose beer, clocking in at 6%. It's refreshing, and light, and it's pickley. No lack of flavor here. Goes down as one of the most unique beers I've had in ages. And it's not a gimmick...it's legit yummy. I also used a little to make beer battered fish and chips. Heck yeah. It's another reminder to drink local wherever you are. Cheers!
