For the blog this week I headed to Ballard to FINALLY hit the Bale Breaker/Yonder Cider tasting room. I've been drinking Bale Breaker for years, so I was excited to hit their tasting room. This is an interesting collaboration, because often times you see a brewery offer just one or two ciders. This is an even split, and there are a LOT of ciders on tap! There are a lot of IPA's offered right now by Bale Breaker, but also Stout, Pilsner, Pale...and more iPA. As a hops lover this is a-ok with me. Bale Breaker was born in Yakima and they grow hops. Which means, they get to use the best hops in their beer! Tons of good stuff to be bad. For you cider drinkers, Yonder has a lot to offer. It was so cold when we left, I bought a hot cider for my walk home. It hit the spot! There is a big outdoor space, and a food truck as well. You'll love it!
