Sometimes you really need a Guinness. And when that craving hits you, go to Shawn O'Donnell's. This has been my go-to spot for Guinness, and I decided I "needed" fish n'chips as well. To me, Guinness isn't an every week drink, but it's not just for St. Pats. It's such a unique flavor, texture and experience. It's gotta be poured right. Can't be TOO cold. Shawn O'Donnell's always gets it right, and they have a great patio. Matt went for corned beef and cabbage (washed down with Guinness) and we threw in some chowder to start. Don't discount a Guinness just because it's new and exciting. A beer that's been around since 1759 has lasted for a reason. Slainte.
