Sarah's Beer of the Week 07.29.2021

Maritime Pacific Brewing Co opened here in Seattle in 1990 and continues to thrive. When I lived a few blocks from The Five Point Cafe, I was always able to get their Old Seattle Lager on tap. Now I'm lucky enough to live close to the brewery's Jolly Roger Taproom. My favorite is the Islander Pale Dry Hopped. It's hoppy, not bitter, not hazy and damn good. It's perfectly balanced and whenever I can find it in cans, I'm thrilled. I can have it at home and not just in the taproom! Super good stuff. There are so many new breweries, and I encourage you to support them all, but don't forget about some of the classic breweries who helped put Seattle on the beer brewing map! Cheers.
