This time of year I love to drink some hefeweizen. Tons of stores sell the bigger bottles of German Hef. Can't go wrong with any of the beers from Ayinger Brewery. They've been brewing just outside of Munich since 1878. This week I went for their Urweisse which is a dark hef. It has less banana than some if their others. It has the spice, the clove and the fruit though. Tons of great flavor, yet light and perfect for the late spring and summer. The bigger bottle means you can share...or just enjoy all by your lonesome. Either way, you'll be happy you did. Good stuff here.
